What may_14 is trying to say is that this is an optical illusion.. you can go from one ladder to another..

there is another one which will justify even better what he is trying to say...

oho!!! nishant bhaiya's first one is good!!! :)
at first glance, it seems to be alright...but after having a closer look, the lurking illusion appears...
that cud have been a perpetual machine otherwise! water coming down and then flowing up and then coming down again..and so on...

If I remember correctly, the first one in #5 is the Belvedere by M.C. Escher. The second one is also one by Escher..though I don't remember the name..he is famous for his so called impossible drawings..

The first figure (cube ones) is a model of Penrose triangle.
