yes tyndall effect is basically scattering of light, since diameter is much smaller than the wavelength of light scattering won't be markable. [1]
Generally people miiss out chapters like surface che, and all but there can be conceptual questions too.
e.g.
Q)explain why there would be no observable " Tyndall Effect" when diameter of dispersed particle is much smaller then wavelength of light used!!

The particles wont be able to scatter the light waves if is diameter is much smaller than the wavelength of light....
