Thermodynamically thing re diff...
Its order of stability thermodymially is
graphite >diamond>fullerene

Graphite is most stable becoz 6-membered planar ring configuration is more stable than the tetrahedral configuration of diamonds[1][1]

graphite..i think its given in RC Mukherjee also.. Check the thermodynamics chapter
