I did a q yeaterday --- which is thermodynamically the most stable allotrope of carbon ?

I marked b but that was not the ans ... Isnt the solution wrong?

Thermodynamically thing re diff...

Its order of stability thermodymially is
graphite >diamond>fullerene

Graphite is most stable becoz 6-membered planar ring configuration is more stable than the tetrahedral configuration of diamonds[1][1]
