FeSO4 is oxidsed bu Na2O2 to Fe(OH)3 [BROWN]
Cr3+ with Na2O2 gives Chromate [YELLOW]

the answer id C as i told earlier
this is an IIT 1996 question
the filtrate is yellow due to the presence of CrO4-and the reidue is brown due to Fe(OH)3
