Q 3 ka A)
reason as O is more electronegative its lp'a r too close to it hence lp lp repultions r
higher than other three ( which r electro positive hence lp r farther hence less repultions)
hence the O----H bonds r replled more
1.in aqueous soln.,Cu2+ ions react with CN- ions to give CuCN &(A).(A) in alkaline soln. undergoes disproportionatio to give (B)$(C).find (A) ,(B),(C).respectively
a.(CN)2,CN-,OCN- b.C4N2,CN2-,CN- c.Cu2O,CuO,Cu d.CuOH,CuO,Cu.
2.when 60%H2SO4 is subjected to electrolysis,an acid (Y) is obtained.when (Y) is hydrolysed,acid(Z) is obtained along with H2SO4.which of the foll. reactions is used to distinguish(Y)&(Z).
a.reaction of (Y)&(Z)with KMnO4 soln.
b.reaction of (Y)&(Z) with HBr.
c.reaction of (Y)&(Z) with KI
d.reaction of (Y)&(Z) with organic compounds.
3.which of the foll. has the largest bond angle?

Q2)
Y = H2S208
Z = H2SO5
m not quite sure about d reactions 2 distinguish them
Q1 > A
vishal gave only one eq ...
here are both the reactions as required by the question :
2 CuSO4 + 4 KCN → (CN)2 + 2 CuCN + 2 K2SO4
(CN)2 + 2 OH-→ CN- + OCN- + H2O
yeah u req both the reactions but here only 1 reaction will do as only one opt has (CN)2
yup but if 2 options were with (CN)2 .. u need to know both of them
yeah thats y i said that we need to know both reactions
and i appritiate u for ur effort
well...
i'v posted d answers n i'm confident dat dey r correct...
but wat is d reagent used 2 distinguish? [7]
