1wettability is the ability of a liquid surface to remain in contact with the solid surface due to intermolecular interactions.
non-wettability is naturally the opposite..
collectors like pine oil, etc [forgot the other names :(].. increases the non-wettability of water molecules and mineral particles.
so the mineral particles floats up keeping the gangue particles behind..
1u can think collector stop a pathway of water bubble to interact wid the ore particles during froth floation process of concentrating the ore
and wettability means the ability to wet(geela karna)
non wettability is just opposite of wettability
