are u sure its basicity ???

becoz only hypophosphoric acid is prepared that way..

its oxidn state is +4

ya acc. to J D LEE the formula of the acid is H₄P₂O₆ ..so i has 4 H bonded to Oxygen...ie 4 acidic hydrogen...so ans i s4
@eureka ..Basicity is the term used for acids,.it means the number of protons that the acid can donate...like H₂SO₄ is a dibasic acid...
