Extension to my question of 04-04-09.........find the velocity of the system after all possible perfectly inelastic collisions
all the spheres have equal mass.....
they have velocity whose magnitude is written over the arrows and the direction of their initial velocity is represented by the arrows...
so the question is
after all possible perfectly inelastic collisions what is the final velocity of the system
and also mention the direction of the velocity...

sorry u are wrong magnitude wise..........
but direction is correct.....
by conservation of momentum answer should be this only becoz
4m(10)-3m(5)=8mv
=>25/8=v
anyways ,by actual analysis...answer is coming 5/8 ??
is this one rite ?
yes now u are right now.....
the answer should be given by actual analysis only
kkk
but my dbt is in that other ques u posted...i got answer by momentum conservation..so why not here ???
u cant apply momentum conservation there....
its just by chance that u got the correct answer............
if u apply momentum conservation then u would have to apply it infinite number of times..........
brought this one up...bcos jee is near and i feel sumthing like this cud cum up
As their is no external force is acting so the initial velocity of center of mass will remain unchanged (1+2+3+4-1-2-2)/8=v
=>v=5/8
@eurie ur first soln was wrong in the sense that the bodies were not moving stickin to each other!!!
