centre of mass in all cases..
as centre of mass hs no force acting over it
two Ice skaters ram n lakhsman [hehe ...nice names] are holding two sides of a massless rod ......ram is twice as heavy as lakshman.....the centre of mass of the two skaters lie along the rod....
where will they meet::
1.if ram moves hand by hand towards lakshman
2.if lakshman moves hand by hand towardss ram...
3.if both move hand buy hand towards each oder....

In the earth frame they will meet at the center of mass. always.
The center of mass will be 1/3rd distance from Ram
This is bcos if u take these 3(ram, laxman and the rod) as a system. there is no external force
In the reference to the rod.. they will obviously meet at different points.
