VOlume distribution
Volume =\frac{4\pi abc}{3}
\rho =\frac{M}{\frac{4\pi abc}{3}}
m=\rho \frac{V}{4} =\frac{M}{\frac{4\pi abc}{3}}\frac{V}{4}=\frac{M}{4}
I know i am posting everything obvious..but I am stuck after this
Never worked in 3D space..
the real problem is where is the quarter cut off ????I mean positon of that removed part ???

solving from here we get x coordinate 3a/8
similarly find y & z coordinate (y and z coordinate are same)

all coordinates are same that are
(3a/16,3b/16,3c/16)
this is because when we cut any symmetrical thing into two parts then coordinate of COM (on the plane which we cut) does not change
{{{{ i.e when we cut any thing (symmetrical about x-axis) along x-axis then coordinate of COM on x axis does not change}}}[1][1]
i think it was not correct
put a=b=c it becomes solid sphere but COM is not same

See..I am trying the simpler case...
Assume that quarter means quadrant...so the case will be..
Imageine the ellipse in fig as projection of ellipsoid in any plane
