i like to look at these in ground frame.. I kind of dont like pseudo force a lot
Look at the fbd
Mg-t=Ma
t-Ncosθ=m1a
N cosθ=ma
mg=N sin θ
Thus, N cos θ = mg tan θ
Thus,
Mg-t=Ma
t-mg tan θ=m1a
mg tanθ=ma
Thus,
Mg=(M+m1+m)a
a= Mg/(M+m1+m)
