conservation of linear momentum

Two masses m and 2m are attached to two ends of an ideal spring and the spring is in the compressed state. The energy of spring is 60 joule. If the spring is released, then

B. energy of smaller body will be 10J
C. energy of smaller body will be 20J

since initially the centre of mass of the system was at rest therefore the velocities of masses m and 2m should be v and v/2.therefore they cannot have the same kinetic energy.
