i think you hav esomething wrong in that expression..
pls chcek n confirm ...
2 equal smooth spheres of radius r move with same speed in opp directions along parallel lines at a distance c apart. (c<2r). PRove that motion of each deviates through right angle if c2-(1+e)=rer2 where e is coeff of restiution.
i think you hav esomething wrong in that expression..
pls chcek n confirm ...
have u solved it?????? The book may be wrong............Plzzz post ur soln
EUREKA sorry for not helping u
i have pbm with question itself
the relation c2-(1+e)=rer2 is dimensionally wrong i think so
I told that the expression is wrong.................Plzz give yours.......
sorry eureka for not answering this one for a long long time...
The basic reason is that the question is dirty and i din feel like attempting it...
I will give u the hint... (basically not much of a hint .. but the most obvious thing)
Pls try it once..> I am 100% sure that you will get this one on your own...
1) "e" is along the common normal!
2) take the direction of the velocity along the common normal...
3) conserve momentum....
that is all :)
good luck...
or else one more post... (i will be very very unavailable thru the coming week... but still this post will be on my mind and i will reply to this one by day after tommorow if u dont get it on ur own :)
