There are many gud problems in it but many of them are solved by many just like maths... so solve the following question frm it and see urself.
Q.A bent tube is lowered into water stream just as shown in fig water has velocity v and tube has a small orifice at top. find to ht water will spurt frm top orifice?

use bernaulli's at the entry point and the exit point
1/2Ïv2+Patm = ÏgH+Patm
H =1/2v2/g

Okie.....
what about...
suppose vel of water is zero then velocity of water at A is also at zero so when velocity of water is v velocity of water at A is also v so a particle with v will go v2/2g
