using bernoulli's theorem,
PV+mgH+1/2mv2 is constant
Near the exhaust, v is very high.
So V becomes very low.
So a very low volume zone is created.
So the water "jumps" upwards
First, i also that that this was a joke and not a real problem and this image was fake .. hehe.. then the name of the image gave me this idea.. good question Sir.
