7.) LOL , they form a system dear , and hence the internal action and reaction forces won't change the net momentum of the system .
Sky, are you telling that row boats can generate magnetic fields? [3]
take my question also
Q9)if you stand barefeet daytime on the sand near by the shore of the pond .what do you observe?
as you move in shallow water , it feels comparitively cooler
how does this happen?
8) To prevent magnus effect
i.e. if it is of any other shape like round it will be deviated 4m itz virtual path of flight,.........so to prevent it......
2.) Concept : Weight = Apparent wt. of a body in air. (if you are not considering vacuum) . Volume of 1 kilo of cotton is >> vol of 1 kilo iron.
Cotton will displace greater amt of air , so it will weigh lesser . But if you are to consider vacuum , cotton will definitely weigh greater (as there is no buoyancy)
4.) no it wont happen in that manner as the man drinks some water , his weight will increase and will thus dispalce same amount of water , so it will keep the water level same .
(Considering losses by evaporation as negligible :P )

No...water level does not change...even if ice is less dense than water..
See when ice is floating the volume displaced is equal to the equivalent mass of water...
and now when ice melts the volume occupied is exactly equal to the initially displaced wter...soi no change in water level
Mathematically...
if density of ice=0.9
volume immersed=0.9H
now when this melts, mass of water=
0.9H/0.9
=H
so volume remains same
