Find the velocity of all the four spheres when the centre of the upper sphere is n x d distance from the ground ????

Initailly, the three spheres will be in contact.

The distance between the centers of the spheres is D
Also, assume that the centers of the bottom spheres are on the XY plane... and that the origin lies at the center of the triangle formed by the centers of the three triangles...

So, the distance of the vertex from the center of the sphere is given by 2R/√3

Now if the sphere at the top has a z coordinate of n.d
The distance between the center of the sphere at the top and the bottom is still given by 2R

Now can you finish the proof :) ??
