All answers are wrong, One thing you people are not considering that force is gradually increasing from zero. So when the applied force will be more than 2N then what will happen, and think accordingly. This question is not that simple.

- Akash Anand I am also getting 7N, but the student who have given this question to me was saying the given answer was 8N. So I asked this on forum. I think 7N is the right answer.
- Aditya Agarwal Is the method correct?
- Aditya Agarwal ^ followed by me *
- Akash Anand Yeah its correct. One more thing try to answer in yourself that till 4N why frictional force is equal on A & C. It may be different too.
- Aditya Agarwal if that does not happen then the middle block will not move but the other two blocks will move. which is impossible.(because they are tied together with a string resulting in unbalanced force)
