Two bodies of masses 10kg and 20kg are plaeced at a distance 1.0 m apart and released.Assuming that only mutual gravitational forces are acting,find the speeds of the particles when the separation reduces to 0.5 m.

exactly...calculate potential energy wen they r 1 m apart (this is their total energy coz they r at rest)
then calculate the total energies of particles (Potential n kinetic) individually wen they r at 0.5 m apart...n then equate the initial total energies to final total energies!!!...from the formula of KE u will get their speeds!!!
