from a circular disc of radius R & mass 9m a small disc of radius R/3 is removed whose centre is at 2R/3 . find the moment of inertia of remainning disc about an axis perpendicular to the plane of disc & passing through centre of disc.

calculate the moment of inertia of the small disc about the centre
this should be easy mass can be calculated since disc has to taken of uniform density
subtract the moment of inertia from that of the bigger disc 9/2mR2
