A body in pure rolling motion the friction force experienced by it is not rolling friction.It is the static friction.bcos the pt of the contact is instantaneously at rest.rolling motion and rolling friction doesnt have any connection
rolling friction appears when a rolling body gets deformed.
for example we find it difficult to go in a bicycle with airles tyres.This is becos of rolling friction.
the matter of fact in 6 is that rolling friction and rolling motion are completely independent
i just wanted to convey the message that children think that rolling friction causes rolling motion.
Te terminology used is just pure convention and has nothing to with their names.
