The first question is same as 10√3 velocity is 10√3/2i+15j

Look at it relative to the wedge.. the velocity will be -10√3/2i+15j

so it is same as projecting a stone along an incline at the angle of 60 degree with a velocity 10√3

Q 3) think of it like this..

the length of each path is equal to 2R cos θ

while the acceleration is "____" fill in the blank and solve the question

@Nishant Sir...time of travelling should be equal na ???? (b) ? It's coming independent of θ .

[Q2]
sp = vt

sq = at2/2

at any time t , distance between p and q i.e 'x'

is
x = at2/2 - vt + 40

(since at t = 0 x = 40 )
now when x is minimum

dx/dt = 0

since the slope of the curve formed by the eqn x = at2/2 - vt + 40

on the x-t graph will be zero

at - v = 0

thus t = v/a = 10 /2 = 5 sec

thus x is minimum at t =5 [ since double derivative = a = 2 = positive ]

thus at t = 5

x = 25 - 50 + 40 = 15
