any takers?

during 5 sec the student falls = 10*5*5/2= 125 m
he is at 55 m from ground

his velocity -50 m/s .

velocity of student w.r.t superman = -50-(-v₀)
= v₀-50

since student reaches ground in 1 s

v-50 â‰¥ 125/1
=> v â‰¥ 175 m/s

for superman to catch juct before reaching ground

v₀ = 175 m/s

is my solution correct?
