Ques) A smooth block of mass m is held stationary wedge of mass M and inclination theta. If the system is released from rest,will the normal reacn b/w wedge and block be less or greater than mgcos theta????
From my point of view, there will be an acc in the wedge w.r.t the block.
That means, there will be a component of pseudo force along mg cos theta,
So, Normal reacn N= mg cos theta+ma sin theta
So, N is leass than mg cos theta.
Plzz someone tell me weather my working is correct or not?? Where I am wrong???
