kaymant sir,
plz help here.............i have a doubt here!!!!!!!!!!plz reply!!!!!!!!
I dont think so !
Coz it doesn't follow all the principles of rigid body motion !!
soory for late reply cena....
i ma not sure about it....the answer maybe yes and no tooo
when liquid is rotated in a vessel it forms a parabolic shape and retains it ..so we can say htat this is rigid body motion....
when liquid is accelrated horz...then it attains a wedge shape..so again it is like rigid body....
i am looking for other examples ..give me some time...
I may be worng tooo in whatecver i said above
eureka review the examples u gave for urself.............
u will realize that those examples point out that the given statement is wrong.............try to scrutinize ur examples u will get wat i wanna tell u[1]
i think this statement is rite...n wat i can gather is this....
c......
a liquid in a vessel is not deformed ie. it doesnt get compressed or expanded as a solid body
its volume is constant n dats wat a rigid body is....u r mistakin it wid change in shape at constant volume

don't take me otherwise.........plz
don u think that wat definition u think of a rigid body needs some amendment!!!!![1]
u shud be confident of urself kid
i know that u know that the statement is false in general.
maybe true in certain context of view
eg F = ma appliies to liquid in a vessel
but if it cumes in assertion and reason.....thn will it be a true ?????
the statement wants to say tat we can apply F=Ma to the vessel irrespective of wat is happening to the liquid
