well ... any prob with the question??
the man (totally mad!!) is trying to remain in between the walls by pushig the two walls with his hands and feet..
my confusion is one thing: why should the horizontal forces cancel each other??
even if the man has a horizontal acc, it has no space to move!!
do answer..
otherwise no other prob with the question...
(sorry for the stupid diag :()

cant figure out the question...............
but still
Newtons third law states that if body is not accelrating, then action/reaction pair cancel out........
if the man has no horizontal acceleration. then net force = 0 so, horizontal force from left=horizontal force from right as accn=0
If man has horizontal acceleration towards right say,, then horizontal force from left is greater than hori. force from right..
FL - FR = ma...
is the equation...
This is the same as the case of normal reaction which is not equal to mg in a vertically accelerating lift.
arey i was sleeping and doing this sum i think...
wat all nonsense i asked..
:P :P :P
