if this is θ, then i think there has to be a constraint on v₀ as √5gl>v₀>√2gl because otherwise, the string wud never be slack,

if θ is the angle as indicated in the diagram, then 90⁰<θ<180⁰

But i dont know how to proceed, how can the string become slack for a particular θ for different values of v₀????[7]
