A particle moves along the x - axis according to the law x = a cos ωt. Find the distance that the particle covers during time interval from t = 0 to t = t.

hint:
find the points where velocity is zero
these are the points where the particle changes its direction and thus displacement differs from distance..the rest is number crunching i guess :)
