acceleration of the two masses m and M.
I personally dont like pseudo force.. (Used to love it when I was in class xi) but when i came to class xii.. i started to hate it..
Yeah there are some problems which are solved in a flash by using pseudo force.. but there are some where u will get confused a lot!
So giving a simple problem.. and want to see if u can solve it without pseudo force...
The Lift is falling down with accleleariton A

here except pseudom force we have to take acceleration w.r.t. ground frame, i.e. a-A and a+A.
ith power u are right.. whoever told me the solution privately have used pseudo force.. (even without knowing that they were!)
btw bhaiya,, i still din get this widout pseudo force...
will u give the full solution plz?
The only reason is incorrect constraint equation....
Could you try to write them?
T-Mg=-Ma ---1
T-mg=ma ----2
now we get a from here...
since the lift is fallinf down with A...
acc of M is a-A ... and the other one a+A.
let the system fall with an acceleration a, and inside the elevator let the accn of system be A , thus assuming M>m , we get acn of M = a+A and accn of m =a-A , rihgt?
