- ARKADYUTI BANDYOPADHYAY Can you show how you worked this one out?
A ball is dropped from the top of a building at t = 0.
At a later time t = t0,a second ball is thrown downwards with initial speed v0. Using relative motion concept, find the time at which the two balls will meet.
gt022(v0-gt0)
???
Let the total time be = to + t
we have to find t
So for 1st particles S= 1/2 g (to + t)2
and for second particle S= ut + 1/2gt2
for both displacement is same
1/2 g (to + t)2=ut + 1/2gt2
solve for t you will get the answer
