Simple chain rule on differentiation...

dx/dt = d(2cos(50pi t + 0.643))/dt = -2sin(whatever) * d(50p t + 0.6)/dt = -2sin(whatever) * 50p = -100pi * sin(whatever)

You missed the pi outside in the end answer?
