The downward force is Mass * Gravity
Therefore on leaving B this force is equal to the tension
Therefore tension is Mg.

the hanging chain problems and all are solved using some other method altogether...
i guess there was one problem long time back on forum which eureka had posted.. i did post the soln too.. but this one is much more complex compared to that one..
