no, it is not correct...its is correct dimensionally,but not acc to units, take example of acceleration(which u gave...:P)
here, if the body is accelerating in linear direction, say- x-axis, then there is no angle....so, it will b absurd to say that the acceleration of body is ....rad n (n not equal to 0)ms2

in that it has just found magnitude.. v2/R = w2R in magnitude only .. for units it has units of acceleration only. Consider this again s=rθ which u must hav read in trigo.
So, do u mean than m=rad*m? NO!
