as far as i think in aieee there is too much competition as CBSE STUDENTS nearly ALL OVER INDIA GO FOR AIEEE.AND THE SYLLABUS IS NOT TOO DIFFERENT FROM CBSE SYLLABUS.SO,U SHOULD TARGET
AT LEAST 225-240 FOR SECURING A SEAT IN NIIT

if u see brochure , its written 1/4th of mark will be deducted for a wrong ans
so coaching insti are guessing that each q has 4 marks so that -1 can be gvn instead of cumbursome-3/4

By the way if the paper is of last years status scoring 175-200+ will fetch top NIT (s)
1i seriously have doubts of it being of 420!! However pattern will change...Thats guaranteed

see those who get good ranks in JEE are boound to get good ranks in AIEEE,so the top 1000 seats will be occupied.And they wont be leaving their IIT seats for NIT.....so u can enter NIT with even less marks.....
