my institute material gives hell lot of reactions(mannich reaction,strecker synthesis,etc.) and preparations of alcohols etc. ,which do not find a place in the syllabus paper.
especially the various methods of synthesis........
is it necessary for us to do those portions?

stick to the syllabus...dont do anything else..unless u have mastered everyhting in syllabus
