The purpose of hiding is to make the answers hidden... so that ppl who dont want to look at the answer and try to to do the question themselves can be benefitted and after after doing the question they can confirm the answer..
1ya it also checks whether u r true to urself or not.
u hav the option to check the answers just by selecting it(and is therefore not exactly "hidden"),but if u r true to urself u wont do so..:)
