CBSE board practicals help

For CBSE physics board practicals,we are required to do 1 experiment and 2 activities. there do we need to perform them and show the settings to the external? also in chemistry practicals for detection of the inorganic and the organic samples,do we need to show the final precipitate of the group tests or analusis of ppt of group test? please reply!

I'm lucky...we don't have nickel or cobalt salts :D

well i feel that Ni/Co are easier to detect if u compare with Sr and Ca ...coz both give red flame....

Sr/Ca toh ho jayega with the help of an oxalate.

Asal mein, ho toh sab jayegaa, jab tak wo exernal/observer aapke peeche hi na ghoomne lage...ek-ek test karna padega nahi toh. :P

u know i think for analysis of ppt for a partcular group, aqua regia is needed which was not provided in our school practical classes.does that mean we have to prepare that ourselves?

If it wasn't provided, how are you people supposed to know how to work it out? Preparing aqua regia? Don't be crazy. You could lose your fingers to two greedy acids. Or maybe even more.

@Avik : Whenever I got carbonate, I used to skip the U-tube test..while the teachers thought I did it :P

say if we identify the cation from flame test directly,we may not need to do the group tests at all, just write the corresponding observations.

the external asked me the difference between ions and radicals!!

Radical (chemistry) is an atom, molecule, or ion which is likely to take part in chemical reactions. - Wiki
So ions are a category of radicals.
Haan avik lime water waala :D

anyone knows whether we have to show the activities in physics.
there was one on household circuit and one on LDR for which the probability of getting them done by me is 0.0 as i didnt attend the pracs on the days!

Once with the KMnO4 titration, i was trying to do some maths probs along too, when suddenly the teacher decided to check our colour accuracy n whether we were actually doing... so in hadbadi i exceeded the titre value too much & the sol.n in the flask became almost very very dark pink...

Toh maine apna baaki bacha mohr salt bahar se usme paltaa diya, jab tak ki perfect colour nahi aa gaya. lol

& I got shaabashi fr tht colour -"Now this is very good. Perfectly done. See all of u, this is the exact colour u r 2 get. Very Good Indeed...but isn't this volume too much ?"

"Sir, i took 40ml salt sol.n by mistake thts why." :P

"Never Mind. But i liked ur accuracy."

rofl....lol...

well did sum1 said we will lose fingers if we try and make aqua regia...dekhte hai abhi try karke....wether or not mera 10 fingers se 8 fingers ho jata hai...[3][3]
