I think you dont ever need anything other than knowing nCr and nPr.
The only thing you will need is the case when there are repetitions.
N!/(n1!.n2!...)
This si understandable.. but many ppl tend to learn this ! (which i dont see too much of a problem in)

Look for a symmetry in the situation and if u get one question reduces to just one word..
