ya try the n bishops problem i gave in Puzzles section
try the n queens same problem (i dindn't post that coz i don't tthink there is a combinatorical soln for it.)

you see if you know backtracking well enough you don't need to search anywhere

try towers of hanoi
add to that one more tower and try solving then
well try some DP problems
you see min no. of coins needed to make a total of 34 when u have coins of 3,4,2,7,1 you see like this there is no dearth for good questions in programming

but oops! which lang will u use ??

btw i also have to submit 35 progs and i haven't started yet
