seen in many threads that brillian correspondence course is best...so, i'll have it for 12th...now, 1 doubt is that, whatz there in that???is it something diff from books??? coz some say buy these books, and some about the correspondence courses...

1In brilliant tutorials postal course they send their material in the form of modules. The advantage of brilliants is that they have given the exact topics which are there for JEE and not extra and unnecessary things like given in halliday resnick. There are many 6 part tests which can be given online or at the center,6 home based part tests , 10 full syllabus tests and 10 home based full syllabus test.
The YG(youngs genius) file of brilliants is very useful for IIT preparation
it has 250 problems in P,C,M each in part I and 750 each in part II so in all there are 1500 problems which help u in reaching IIT level

I know it is nto ethical and all.. but I wud suggest that..
And buy text books.. 2nd hand whenever possible.

11yeah you need to have other books as well for better understanding of the course material
old or new my opinion still differs but take sir's opinion take old
1brilliant have concentrated more on concepts so in order to practice problems u will need to refer dc pandey series, TMH etc, because the YG file cosists of problems but you will get this YG file at the end of the year till then u will have to use other books for problem solving
but for conceptual clarity brilliant is excellent, if insufficient then u may even refer MTG series ( excellent buks of MTG)
