1..are u waiting is present continous whereas the right one is present perfect continous
2. D has redundant stuff
5. the room cleaning has alredy been done. so its not D, as D is past perfect continous. whereas C is jut past perfect.

In Q3, there should be an option for "to" because none of the options sounds right. "at" seems the most probable.

It's "continuous" madhu...Lol..

haha oops, silly keyboard :P
and yeah in 3,at seemed to be the closest

for 4, getting along, means tat u interact well with tat person..so tat cant be it
getting over is like..moving on..or moving past..example "i got over the toughest obstacle in the course"

getting through is like "i got through college without failing any classes " (hopefully :P )

so getting off, is the answer

on second though, im not sure if 4 is "off" or "through"

Q4 is "off" for sure. "He got off" or "He was let off" implies that the person got out of the situation.
"Got through" would also seem correct, but in most cases "got off" is correct. A pickpocket is naturally a nuisance. His job is to pick pockets, not to go places as "got through" suggests.

4)The pickpocket got ____off____________ only with a warning.

a)off b)along c)over d)through
Its off because i think usually along is used in sentences like:
me & my friend get along well.....
I think i can give u examples so that u can understand...........i am bad at explaining things.
if u r k with it I can put more examples...
and all answer by madhu seems to be right
