hey a hell lot of things happened while I was making my project..
I can see many are dissatisfied with the JEE paper (u can say ur performance) but believe me no one who have given JEE any year is ever satisfied, there is always a thing back of the mind,"Agar ek bar aur exam hota na duniya ko dikha dete'

Courts seem to an option but first carefully look the from's clauses you had signed and the terms and conditions... whatever has happened has happened for all. just find the best way out..

@ gordo, I think it's very nice to set urself as an iitian after a sitter of a paper in 2009.....think of us - u surely woul've been disgusted if u had been a candiadate this yr....

@raja, i really appreciate the fact that u have brought out ur anger. i want to make one point clear. I am in no way telling that this paper is easier than last yr's. no way trust me.
2ndly, yeah, im in total agreement with u..its so much more easier to 'set one self up as an iitian' through a sitter. Definitely this yr has been hard on u..

But on the other hand, id like to make 2 more points crystal clear..
1) This paper is nothing compared to the difficulty of the ones during the 90's. I think u ppl must realize that IITJEE is not a cake walk all the time where u can score 250+ with ease. If this years math was hard, with no proper space for rough work, it was hard for everyone, and not just u. I disagree with the fact that this yr, 100% of the syllabus was high level mathematics. Let me tell u, a lot of ppl find math really difficult in the IITs. U see, u won't get sitter questions to solve in math once u enter IITs, leading to so many ppl failing in math in their 1st yr. So probably, IITs realized that they needed students with stronger math to enter. So if ppl don't find the math in JEE up to their level, nothing can be done by cribbing against it

2) Im not too proud of the kind of people who'v entered thru' JEE last yr. granted that JEE 2k9 was a sitter. That is the exact reason why a lot of people who deserved to get in didn't make it thru' and a lot of ppl who didn't deserve it, made it. U want to know why i like IITs setting tough papers, here's why. I feel ashamed when ppl after having made it thru' jee don't know young's modulus, and can't make free body diagrams for god's sake! (yeah!), when u see such ppl around u, u feel really bad..I know ppl who can't do integrations properly, when made slightly complex. Looking at such things, anyone wud want a stricter screening process.

Look, i totally agree that JEE this time might have been unreasonable. But i strongly feel people are blowing it out of proportion. Have u for once realized where ur own preparations might have given u away?? rather than going bash bash about the iits for setting a tough paper the first thing. And raja, its not jsut 2k9, but i also 'set my self up as an IITian' in 2k8, which by no means was a sitter :), still i feel there is nothing wrong in displaying ur angry feelings. but this must not be prolonged, as it will harm ur AIEEE and BITS preparations.

cheers!!!

gordo said a lot of things which after some thoughts appear correct ............paper was ill prepared ..not tuff.....

but clarity was missing....which really isnt acceptable in such a exam[1]

but nthing can be done now[2]...prety clear [1]

and @raja...they wont elimintate those who amrked all options..they would jsut not give them anything...they have laready lost a lot of respect...i am sure they cant afford more [1]

aare gordo bhaiya, I was telling that 2010 paper is tuffer dan 2008.

and yes, tuff maths is for everyone - bnut I took maths as a subject which would affect my scores a lot, see in my fiitjee tests, I used to get scores - 60% of which came from maths, I wud not have bothered had the chemistry or the physics paper been bad, but to have 1 of ur prime subjects down bcoz of an ill-setted paper is disappointing.

Those strong in physics and chem will not suffer much.

I was more=or-less good to tackle normal jee problems in maths and physics.

Physics was good - but I surely was not good enuf in maths for olympiad problems. Had the maths paper been like 2008 or 09, I wud have been dancing.

So dat's what made the difference 4 me - get it now?
