I have written JEE this year and i have lost half an hour in the first paper due to that goof up in the ORS sheet and question paper due to erasing and writing back the answers twice.
I strongly am in favour of re exam. IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE. Sitting here and talking dosent make sense while IIT Chennai is busy bracing itself to face the students on 2nd. Let all of us support each other. Let us file a PIL in court. And it would really work if we had numbers. JOIN ME STUDENTS. The interested people can mail me their contact info to me.

1what do you think FILING A PIL IN COURT wil help you......wtf!!....it has been said by the respected diretors that der will be no re-exam at any cost(SINCE NO QUESTION WAS LEAKED..!)
nd imagine a situation after 3-4 years when students would hear that der was a re-exam only because students filed a PIL in court!!...
that's completely non-sense..!!
IF you have had issues regarding the filing up of OMR sheets..then why didn't you ALL WAITED for the final intructions to come up with...it's all your fault if you took this big decision on your own( to fill d omr sheets according to the subject mentioned..!! you ALL could have marked your answers on the question paper first and waited untill you got the final anouncement..(AS DONE IN OUR CENTRES)..!)!!

Please do not form your conclusions, we were instructed to write the ORS acc to the question nos, and then we were half way, we were again instructed to fill acc to the subject heads. But it was not before asking us to write again acc to the question paper.
I dont think i need to explain myself this much.
Since you are not the sufferer, u do not understand. Please do not hurt other's feelings and their sincere effort and hardwork.

for my case i need to keep my mouth shut as in my centre the anouncement was made just after 15 minutes of start !

33i don't wanna comment on all this but regarding qwerty's estimates. where's cost of fooding and lodging of one cheaking the answer scripts, clerks, peons,... bla bla bla... theres too much cost involved in a simple event forget conducting an all india exam...
23200 Rs rent per candidate, that includes peons and all ,
( 200 x 472000 kitna hoga [5])
and i hav kept 25 rs as a margin of error PER CANDIDATE
so ( 25 x 472000 = ????????????????)

1.it is not VAMSI's or any candidates fault....so MONEY n MANAGEMENT is problem of JAB...
2.moreover even then if JAB[a committee of elites]......can be so senseless to THROW ALL UPON THE EXCUSE OF COST,..etc... then all of us will repay the exam conducting fees....Rs.1000 is not much if even one ELITE IITIAN cn get benifitted from the RE_EXAM.....INDIA will gain too much from just a SINGLE IITIAN rightly chosen then 1000s of them wrongly chosen[1]
