i m repeating for JEE 2011.
Please help me with the following points
1] Regarding coaching classes
a] shud i join a regular 1 yr coaching class for droppers?
if yes wich one ? pace/vidyarthi/fiitjee/resonance/vibrant/BT/etc etc
pls mention branch also
OR shud i do self study ?
b] wat is a correspondence course? i mean wat is offered in it ?
c] if i go for fiitjee correspondence, wat all things do they offer? any idea about the fee structure?
2] how shud i study ? wich books shud i follow ? considering the fact that i want to prepare with an aim of getting air 1
3] wat shud i do about chemistry ? if correspondence course offers notes, is that good enough for chemistry ?
4] Most imp: wat do u guys think about private coaching classes ?
are there any famous ones ? wich are they ?
are there any in mumbai ?
can i apply only for chemistry der?

If narayana in available in Mumbai i advice u 2 join there after enquiring abt da faculty though
4Rao academy is famous for chemistry as far as i know but i am not sure abt the quality
The material is bad though
In chem which r ure strong n weak areas ??

106ur ohy n maths marks are okay-good
So u can definitely brush them up.
u need to get chem coachng from good insti (it was easiest for most ppl that ive asked)

a)I would strictly recommend u to join a regular 1 yr dropper batch,and there is not much need to study in a different city,as I am from Bhopal I don't have any idea about coachings in Mumbai,compare results of all coaching institutes,and for u I would advice join a coaching which has a really good Chem Faculty
About Correspondance
get hold of BT Chem material both for theory and probs,I really think BT material for Chem is really very good and sufficient too for JEE atleast
1as far as your jee marks are concerned it has amazing figures.
i mean physics is OK maths extraordinary excellent and chemistry too down. remember if u want a gud rank in jee u shud be having the command in all the 3 subjects.
an ideal student who is going to qualify shud have a maximum marks in chem followed by maths then physics (until the maths paper is too tough like this year)
i wud suggest u to join a gud coaching in mumbai and i also dont agree with correspondence since the theory part is only in name.
so join a gud coaching institute take somewhere the test series if u like and keep in touch with other guys in targetiit and just concentrate ur marks itself says that u will do it next year
11Ans 1) (a) Better go 4 self study or join famous private coaching classes
Ans 3) NO. Correspondence course notes r useless and insufficient (atleast 4 theory).
