Can i do MTECH in other subjects than i did BTECH?
I mean if i do BTECH in Civil..Can i do MTECH in Mechanical/CS/Electrical??
I know its silly to ask this..but still i was not sure..

1no its not possible for core branches of engg like cse,eee,ece,mech...if u go through eligibilty criteria of various colleges for m.tech prog..it will be mentioned that d candidate must hav passed b.e/b.tech in d appropriate discipline.....and in any case it does not make sense to do m.tech in any other discipline..it is a form of specialisation...u hav to hav a background knowledge of the subject..........but in certain other subjects which i know like polymer tech..some colleges dont place a particular criteria..
1Who said that ... It's 101% possible .... the only problem is ... if for instance ... u did B.Tech in Mechanical ... and want to do M.Tech in Electrical ... u have to appear for GATE in Electrical and ... after that u can not continue with Mechanical ....
