Do not go for Morrison Boyd straightaway ...
Start with Indian writers .... if u need extra .... go for Foreign writers ...
Otherwise it's like .... GOING TO READ A 'NOVEL' WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING ABOUT 'ALPHABETS' .... !!!!
I am starting organic right now
I have 3 choices of books ...please suggest soemthing
1.Arihant Organic
2.Morrison Boyd
3.Bahl and Bahl Organic chemistry
Please reply as soon as possible...

I disagree!
u can follow Morr-Boyd directly...
only that u have to follow it religiously...following every concept, every line...even every single comma!
that must help!!
cheers!!
I also partly agree to shubhomoy..
To be very good at Organic chemistry.. you can try to follow some of the foreign writers.. I would suggest solomon's not the other books.. specially morisson.. (specailly if you want a 2-3 digit rank)
You dont need to read everything there...
take this ..If u have loads of time study Morrison Boyd systematically..
followed by question answer from I L finar and Arihant
If u have less time
solve arihant alone but exhaustively
should be sufficient
I followed 5 books(Arihant , Boyd , Pradeeps,I L finar,Bansal(for mechanisms))
