Trying my hand at this:

Okay so earth rotates by 360° in 24 hours

and lunar month is of about 28 days... so the moon subtends an angle of 360° about the earth's centre in 28 days.

Considering constant angular velocity of the earth and moon's RISING point about the earth's centre throughout .. (this may be an erroneous assumption..but this makes my life easy [6])

So.. in 1 day the moon has traversed 360°28 angle about earth's centre..

thus earth needs to travel (1+128).360° for the point under consideration to see moon rise..

and it is done in (1+128)x24 hours..

that is 1 day 2428 hours that is 1 day 1214 hours..

thus the moon rises over the same point 1214 hours after 6 pm the next day! [1]
