1.someone please help me out on this type of Q:

when one side of a convex lens (of some given radius of curvature) is silvered and the object distance, refractive index of glass of lens is given. And we have to find the image distance.

You are talking about silvered convex lens-which basically behaves like a concave mirror.

You'l find the derivation in any text book..

il think the result is --
1u+1v=2(n-1)|R₁| +2n|R₂|

n= RI of the glass.

all quantities given,you can find v.
