CCl4,CF4(freon-14),CF2Cl2(freon-12) are used as refrigants
LIQUID AMMONIA IS USED AS REFRIGERANT
I think all of them r used as refrigerant .......
they r all given in ncert text book with exp..........

CFC's are currently banned,,they are good refrigerants..

NH3 is also used..

i think out of the all the given compounds only CCl₄ can be partially rejected as it is rarely used for refrigeration.......more commonly used in fire extinguishers. others have been used as refrigants at some or other time........ammonia,CF4 and CH2F2 are still used as refrigants.
