i hv tried it and F am getting CH2=CH- C =OCH2-CH2-COOCOCH3.
but a bit doubtful abt it. plz confirm.

thanks i understood...,but why are u changing d second -C=o from d right in product f.....it should have remined -C-OH as in product e....coz dere is no oxidising agent....plz reply

dude , from E , when -OH group is eliminated , dat time this carbonyl group is formed ; this is becoz -OH is a not a very good leaving group , dats why its first protonated and eliminated.
